EcoVue Ultrasound Gel has a 99% natural formulation which translates into a gentle formulation free of dyes, parabens, and propylene glycol, making it gentler on patients and on ultrasonic equipment. In addition to being 99% natural, 86% of the carbon-derived content in the formulation is bio-based, helping to make this product California Proposition 65 compliant, a major selling feature, and USDA certified as a bio-based product. The bio-based claim is also an excellent selling feature, as many markets around the globe, including clinical treatment entities, are looking at their sustainability footprint and are seeking products that add benefit to these programs.
Further adding to their sustainability programs is EcoVue’s innovative Flex-Pac® packaging which reduces the amount of plastic bottle waste seen with competitive ultrasound gels. Flex-Pac’s soft packaging also allows for maximum evacuation of product, also minimizing waste.
